Free Advancement Patches

“COUNCIL POLICY ON FREE RANK ADVANCEMENT PATCHES:  The Council’s policy on how units can obtain free rank advancement patches is listed below.  Note that it requires both the use of the on-line advancement reporting to record the advancement within a unit, and a hard copy of the advancement report that must be presented when the patches are picked up at the scout shop.  Please make your advancement chairs aware of this procedure so that you can continue to receive free advancement patches.

 

 

Circle Ten Council’s Policy is that units will be provided free rank advancement badges if they:

1.Use BSA’s online rank advancement service

and

2.Bring the printout of advancement activity with them to the Scout Shop when requesting rank advancement.

Only units complying with both requirements will receive their rank advancement at no cost.
