The 2010 Friends of Scouting Campaign is underway. White Rock District has a significant goal and we are hoping that all units can participate.
What can you do?
- Designate an adult leader in your unit as the FOS contact for your unit and communicate that person’s name, telephone number and email address to me (my contact information is below).
- Think about former adult leaders, parents of Eagle Scouts and others that may no longer be active in your unit that may be interested in supporting Friends of Scouting. Provide us with a copy of your unit roster so that we may solicit adult leaders and parents that may not be able to attend your event.
- Consider attending, or having your unit sponsor a table, at the Third Annual Circle Ten Council FOS Dinner. The dinner will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Reunion Tower. This was a great event last year. Invitees to this dinner are persons that would consider making a donation of $250 or more to FOS this year. Contact Dan or me for more information regarding the Council Dinner.
- Consider making a donation to FOS this year. All gifts are welcome, in any amount. Your gift is tax deductible. You know how important this program is to the boys and young men in White Rock District.
