One week leadership training course for Boy Scouts. Visit the Circle 10 Golden Acorn site for more info, including dates and registration. Scouts who complete Golden Acorn may attend NAYLE (National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience) at Philmont. Additional Opportunities: Adult Scouter TrainingYouth Protection Training (available online--you'll have to set up a free account if you don't already have one). This training helps prevent child abuse. Mandatory training for all adults that work with youth. National Training, including Fast Start, which is a short video to explain basic job responsibilities to new leaders. Wood Badge. Leadership training sessions for all volunteer leaders throughout the year. Check schedule and prerequisites at Circle 10 Wood Badge page. Powder Horn (Boy Scout Adults and Venture Adult Leaders). Various dates and locations. Schedule. Cub World Training. Held last Thursday of each month at 7 PM at Circle Ten Council. Contact Circle 10 Council for more info. COPE Facilitator Training. Training will be provided on COPE purpose, standards and methods on both low course and high course elements. The program includes actual participatino in the elements as a hands-on training experience. Have fun like your Scouts for a couple of days. This course is only offered as needed.
