DISTRICT DINNER, JANUARY 27, 2012
To all in White Rock District: This is a reminder that the last White Rock District awards dinner will be Friday, January 27th, at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Details are in the attached flyer. All 2011 Eagle Scouts have received from me a personal letter inviting them to be our guests at the dinner so that we may recognize their efforts in achieving the Eagle Rank. The dinner is for all adult scouters in the district and parents or guests of the Eagle scouts that we will honor. The cost is $15 per person (through the upcoming roundtable), and $20 at the door. We need to finalize the attendance list as soon as possible to make sure we make the appropriate arrangements with the caterer. Please have your units at its upcoming meeting compile a list of attendees and send it to me or Adam Hunter. Payments can be made (to “Circle 10 Council”) either at the council offices on Harry Hines Blvd, or to me or to Adam Hunter in person at roundtable or otherwise.
As we have now officially combined with White Buffalo, and are now known as Tejas Caddo, this district dinner will be the final time that we celebrate as White Rock District to both honor those scouters who have given so much to our district this year and over the years and to kickoff our new larger district. At the dinner, we will announce and recognize our new District Award of Merit recipients and the new Silver Beaver recipients, as well as a host of others. This will be a special event, so please make every effort to attend/ Send in your RSVP list asap. Thanks,
