Training-Fall Super Saturday and IOLS 2010

Fall training times are to be Super Sat Sept 18 to do Cub and SM/ASM.  Then IOLS on Oct 8-10.

The following was the Spring Schedule and may change.  This is for reference only.

Training dates for White Rock and White Buffalo are to be Sept 18 for a "Super Sat" and it will include SM/ASM and Cub Training.  Cost: $10.00 for lunch and “Trained” patch upon completion of courses.

8:30 to 9:45 am –  This Is Scouting
10:00 to 12:30 p.m. Cub Leader Specific Training

Includes: Tiger Cub, Cub Scout, and Webelos den leaders, Pack Committee, Cub Masters

12:30 to 1:00 Lunch
1:00 to 3:00 pm – BALOO Training (Cub leader Outdoor Orientation)

Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS)

All adult leaders active in Boy Scout troops, including Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters. (Prefer you have completed Basic Leader Training before taking this course. The course involves an overnight campout and provides instruction on outdoor scouting skills, how to run an effective outdoor program for Boy Scout or Venture units, and is a must for all adult leaders.

Boy Scout Leader Specific 

The course provides hands-on instruction in the “How-To” of building and running a strong Scouting program at the troop level and is a must for all adult leaders in the troop.
